the progress of his recovery

After my husband, P, received a stem cell transplant in 2008, certain symptoms kept appearing in various ways; his face, especially his eyes, got swellen, red and itchy and his skin was peeling and cracking and sticky fluid has been seeping out of his face for the past few months. It seemed very painful,,,, very much. He has been applying steroid cream, anti-bacterial cream all over his face and body..... P is a rare case where he inherited allergies from the donor. And this is something even the doctors could not have anticipated. Now the medical team asked him to stop several medications (including all the anti-biodics covering him) for a while to observe which one might be the possible cause of his medical allergies. It seems that the anti-biotics medications which are supposed to protect him from the infections are making it harder for him. He has to take anti-biotics to prevent possible infections, yet these anti-biotics are causing allergic reactions.

The worst thing of being a patient like him is unpredictable symptoms, reactions, and results. But the good thing is that he shows remarkable endurance throughout all this process. Even though he has been suffering so hard, I could not help him to reduce the pain but I tried to be right next him to add joy and happiness.
